Maria Rowena M. Pasimio is Visiting Professor of Biblical Studies at both the Don Bosco School of Theology (an affiliate of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome) and the Mary Help of Christians Theology Seminary. She obtained a Master of Arts in Theology degree, majoring in Sacred Scriptures, and a Master in Religious Studies degree, majoring in Catechetics, from the first Institute above. One of her recently published works is entitled The Cross of Christ: Paul’s Answer to Disunity in Philippi and Corinth. She was a full-time Missionary for the international Catholic lay ecclesial movement “Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation Inc.”, assigned for long-term mission in Kenya, Tanzania and the United Kingdom. She has also been on short mission trips to Australia, Cambodia, China, Guam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. She was recently received into the “Order of Consecrated Virgins Living in the World” under the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan in the Philippines.
