Hozan Alan Senauke is a Soto Zen Buddhist priest, widely recognized as a teacher, writer, and activist. He is vice-abbot of the Berkeley Zen Center in California, and founder of the Clear View Project, which offers Buddhist-based training and resources in environments of suffering around the world. Hozan is on the advisory council of the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB). In 2015, he attended the PCID’s Buddhist-Christian dialogue in Castel Gandolfo, Rome.
