Michael Trainor AM is a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide, in South Australia, and Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies at the Australian Catholic University. He has published several works about the New Testament, especially on the Gospel of Luke. He is currently completing an ecological commentary on the Acts of the Apostles. Fr. Trainor is engaged in inter-faith dialogue, especially as Chair of the Australian Council of Christians and Jews and as executive board member of the International Council of Christians and Jews. In 2007, the Australian Government awarded Fr. Trainor with the ‘Australian Medal’ for his services to theology and interreligious dialogue.
