The Apostle Paul and His Letters

Intended as a suitable toolbox for tackling and understanding Paul’s texts, this manual is divided into three sections: introductory, dealing with the biography, identity and writings of the Apostle; exegetical, introducing the individual letters with the analysis of a selection of passages; and theological, devoted to Paul’s thought and its themes. This manual follows the usual pedagogic-didactic order. What is original is the choice to give much more important space to the exegetical section than to the other two, offering the student direct contact with the texts.

Col proposito di fornire gli strumenti più opportuni per accostarsi ai testi dell’apostolo Paolo e comprenderli, il libro è diviso in tre sezioni: una introduttiva - biografia, identità e opere -, una esegetica - presentazione delle singole lettere e analisi di diversi brani -, una teologica - dedicata al pensiero paolino e alle sue tematiche. La scansione del manuale segue un ordine pedagogico-didattico, caratterizzandosi da altri testi di introduzione all’epistolario paolino per la maggiore estensione della sezione esegetica.
